Bar worker who couldn't hold a glass wins unfair dismissal claim

A bar steward who developed arthritis in his hands so he couldn't hold a glass has won a £1,698 unfair dismissal payout.

The Scotsman reports that Alex Scheffler, 57, was sacked from his job after he failed to supply a requested medical report.

But he won his unfair dismissal claim and was awarded compensation.
