Inadequate contract clause costs employer £1,640

A machinist has been awarded £1,640 by an Employment Tribunal that decided his employers had used a badly-worded contract clause to try and cut his sick pay.

The Kennilworth Weekley News reports that the employee became ill from stress, but went to the Tribunal after his employer reduced his sick pay after six months.
