Teacher claims dismissal was because he was HIV positive.

A teacher who claims he was sacked from his job at a private school after telling the headteacher that he was HIV positive is claiming unfair dismissal and disability discrimination.

An Employment Tribunal heard, the Sunday Mirror reports, that the day after after he confided in his boss the teacher was told to leave the school by one of the directors.

He said he was not given a reason for his dismissal. The case was adjourned.
